The botThe discordjoblist bot connects your server to the board. You will be prompted to add it when you connect a server to a job listing, or you can add it any time from the home page.
What it does today
- Creates the invite link shown on your listings, so applicants can join your server.
- Pulls your server banner and icon to make your listings look like your community.
- DMs you when someone applies to your listing, when your application status changes, and when an applicant nudges you.
Permissions
The bot asks for a single permission: Create Invite. It cannot read messages, manage your server, or ping anyone. If your server has the widget enabled, we can often generate invites without the bot at all.
What is coming
Posting fresh listings into a channel of your choice, /jobs slash commands, and alerts for the categories your community cares about are in the works.
