Posting your first job

Last updated August 2026

Head to "Post a job" from the header or your dashboard. The form takes about five minutes, and posting is free while we are in beta.

The essentials

  • Title and category: say what the role actually is. "Senior Moderator" beats "staff wanted".
  • Job type: paid, volunteer, or revenue share. Be honest; volunteer listings do fine here.
  • Compensation: exact numbers win. "$100 / month" or "$15 per emote" beats "competitive".
  • Description: what the role involves, the hours you expect, and your server vibe.

Picking your Discord server

Connect your server when posting and we handle the rest: your server icon and banner appear on the listing, and an invite link is generated automatically so applicants can check the community out first.

Interview questions

Add up to five questions that every applicant must answer, like "How many hours a week can you commit?" or "What timezone are you in?". Answers show up next to each application in your dashboard, which makes comparing candidates much faster than DM interviews.

Duration and visibility

  • Pick how long the listing stays up: 7, 14, 30, or 60 days, or until you remove it. Expired listings disappear from the board but stay in your dashboard, where you can renew them with one click.
  • Public listings appear on the jobs board and in search engines. Private listings are hidden from browsing; only people you share the link with can see them.
  • You can edit everything later from your dashboard. The listing URL never changes, so links you have shared keep working.
